You may not know this but Hong Kong has three taxi areas. The one that most tourists are used to seeing is pictured above – the iconic Hong Kong red taxi. These taxis are licensed to cover Hong Kong island and Kowloon. The other two are the green taxi (New Territories) and blue taxis (Lantau Island).
