On quiet Bridges Street, opposite the hipster yakitori place known as Yardbird, lies a unique little shop called Select 18. It’s filled with vintage kitsch from the late 70’s to early 80’s, pretty much pseudo-antiques. If you lived through the 80’s you’ll remember a lot fo the things that you’ll find here.
Clothing, accessories old cameras, eye glasses – it’s either a delightful treasure trove or a hodge-podge of expensive junk, depending on how you value things. Then again, value lies in the eye of the beholder, no? And many seem to find great value in the items here. You gotta see it to believe it. Just pop on in and have a look.
