Someone has erected a shrine to Guan Gong / Guan Di / Guan Yu (phew, just how many ways can you refer to the same deity!) at an OccupyHK / The Umbrella Revolution / OccupyCentral barrier on Nathan Road.
The idea is thus: Guan Gong / Di / Yu is the patron deity of policemen. You’ll find his shrine in all the police stations in Hong Kong. So this protestor has put up a shrine here with the notice that “Guan Gong / Di / Yu will not protect the police that abused innocent protestors” sorta message.
