Behold the Plover Cove Dam, which of course, holds in the water from the Plover Cove Reservoir. The main dam, pictured above is around 7km long and was once the largest dam in the world.
The reservoir itself, was made from a cove (hence the name). It was the first project in the world to turn an arm of the ocean (the cove) into a fresh water reservoir.
