On the streets of Sham Shui Po, you can find many things. Apliu Street is known for it collection of electric / electronic knick-knack stalls. You can find AM/FM radios, portable tellys, LED lighting, replacement remote controls, transistors, flashlights and god-only-knows-what-else here.
Here we see a magnet stall. Yes, those things that are all over the table are magnets. This stall only deals in magnets.
Who buys these things? For what purpose? Do everyday consumers buy magnets? Can I line all of those magnets up and form a working (if rather weak) railgun? Such are the questions that run through my head, unanswered.
Hi, i noticed this post was some years ago. Do you know if this lady and her stall are still there? I need to buy a load of magnets but don’t want to make the trip from HK island if she has gone long ago. Thanks.
