It’s the last night of OccupyHK in Admiralty, clearouts begin tomorrow (11th Dec 2014). Thousands throng the streets. Despite the dwindling crowds and support, the news that this will be the final night has brought the people out to the street. It’s so packed you can hardly walk.
Like Joni Mitchell said – don’t it always seem to go, that you don’t know what you’ve got ’till it’s gone. People have come to say farewell to Hong Kong’s summer of love.
No matter how it goes tomorrow, a generation has woken up and Hong Kong will never be the same again.
